Military commander loyal to coalition killed near Jizan

JIZAN, Feb. 07 (YPA) – A senior military commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition in was killed in fierce fighting  near Jizan Saudi border against Yemeni army forces .

This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on testimonies of  military sources.

Military sources said that the Brigadier General Yahya Heikal al-Sumaini was killed in a failed attack on the city of Haradh in Hajjah province in northwestern Yemen.

He was killed along with leaders and other elements of pro-Saudi military factions in addition to  soldiers from Saudi ground forces, the sources added.
