HODEIDA, Feb. 01 (YPA) – Head of the national team in the Redeployment Committee in Hodeida, Major General, Ali Al-Mushki, revealed “the Saudi-led coalition is working to detonate the situation militarily in Hodeida.
During his meeting with the head of the UN Mission to support the Hodeida Agreement (UNMHA), Major General Michael Berry, Al-Mushki affirmed the Sanaa government would worked providing all facilities to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
Major General Al-Mushki explained that the coalition countries militarized the Red Sea and their maneuvers continuing near the Yemeni territorial waters.
He pointed out that the Hodeida agreement is a humanitarian step and its implementation should not be procrastinated, stressing the need to stop the coalition raids and the killing of civilians in the province.
Al-Mushki noted the need to move the prisoners’ file, calling on the United Nations to take a position to complete the all-for-all deal.
For his part, Beary expressed his great appreciation for the cooperation of the national party in facilitating the work of the UN mission, adding that the mission working to persuade the other party to return to work in accordance with the requirements of the Sweden Agreement.
“We realize the importance of repairing the ports, and the ports must be open without hindrances,” Berry said, adding that seven years of Yemeni suffering is enough and the time has come to end the war.
