SANAA, Feb. 01 (YPA) – Marib governor, Ali Tu’aiman  has confirmed on Tuesday that  Saudi-led coalition, through pro-UAE forces, committed several crimes in the provinces of Shabwa, Marib and other provinces during their recent military escalation.

In a statement to al-Masirah TV, Ali Tu’aiman said that most of the coalition’s crimes were committed in the directorates of Harib and al-Jubah, which are crowded with citizens.

Coalition warplanes destroyed roads, bridges and service facilities, in addition to killing citizens while in roads, markets and homes.

He noted that the coalition warplanes carried out more than 2,000 airstrikes during a month of UAE escalation, most of the airstrikes on the districts of  Usaylan, Bayhan and Ain in Shabwa province, Harib and al-Jubaha districts in Marib province.

More than 600 people were killed and wounded in Shabwa and Marib provinces, including with those killed in the crimes of Saada prison, Al-Junid family and others, Ta’aman said.

“The directorate of Harib was  remained under siege for 20 days as a result of the escalation, he said. “ We tried repeatedly to bring in  as much food, medicine and oil derivatives as possible to serve the citizens and we were unable to do so.”

Ali Tu’aiman added, the telecommunications networks have not been targeted ,pointing that  more than 10 stations have been destroyed in several provinces, as well as the destruction of the international internet gateway in Hodeidah governorate.

The governor held the Security Council and the United Nations responsible  for these crimes, considering them as tools at the hand of (America and Israel) to justify their crimes in the region.

“The UAE regime and those behind it to bear the consequences of their escalation,”  he added, stressing that nothing will dissuade us from defending ourselves and liberating every part of our country.
