Iran, Sweden discuss current crisis in Yemen

TEHRAN, Jan. 25 (YPA) – Ali Asghar Khaji, a special assistant to Iran’s foreign minister for special political affairs, discussed on Tuesday, via video, with Sweden’s Special Envoy for Yemen, Ambassador Peter Semneby, ways of bilateral cooperation to solve the current crisis in the country.

Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying: The visual talks between Khaji and Semneby included the latest developments on the Yemeni arena, as wellas to the common grounds available to Tehran and Stockholm with the goal of resolving the crisis and putting an end to the humanitarian catastrophe that the Yemeni people are going through.
