Comprehensive Iranian-Chinese cooperation document enters into force
TEHRAN, Jan. 15 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that the comprehensive cooperation document between Iran and China (25 years) has entered the implementation phase as of Friday, January 14, 2022.
“We first agreed that the two sides would start implementing the 25-year comprehensive cooperation document as of today,” Abdollahian told reporters after meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Friday.
This came at the same time as the talks between the two sides were taking place in China, he added.
Abdollahian noted that he conveyed a written message from President Ibrahim Raisi to his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, which included the implementation of the 25-year-old cooperation document between the two countries and various regional and international issues.
He mentioned that the two sides reached “stronger agreements” during Friday’s talks.
