Israeli occupation forces continue their attacks in Quneitra countryside

DAMASCUS, Aug. 30 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their attacks, on Sunday, in villages in the Quneitra countryside in southern Syria, where they established a temporary checkpoint in the village of Al-Ajraf in the central Quneitra countryside and began searching passersby.

According to the Syrian “Sijil” Center, occupation forces advanced with two tanks near a point belonging to the UNDOF forces in the Tal Al-Hawa area, south of the village of Jabata Al-Khashab in the northern Quneitra countryside, and carried out bulldozing operations in the area.

The forces also raided and searched a house in the village of Taranga in the same countryside.

These violations come amidst escalating Israeli ground attacks in the border areas of the Quneitra countryside and continued tension in the villages adjacent to the border strip.
