Health Ministry condemns coalition’s frequent targeting of health facilities
SANAA, Dec. 24 (YPA) – The Ministry of Public Health and Population in Sanaa condemned on Friday the continuation of the US-backed Saudi-led coalition in targeting health facilities and residential neighborhoods in Yemen.
The ministry denounced, in a statement, the coalition airstrikes at dawn today on Al-Zubayri Street, in central of Sanaa, that caused damages to Al-Aliya Hospital and many diagnostic and specialized medical centers, clinics, laboratories and pharmacies.
The coalition’s raids also caused intimidation of the neighborhood’s residents and patients in the Republican Hospital, the second largest hospital in the Republic, the ministry added.
The statement stressed that “the continued targeting of civilians, civilian objects, and health facilities resulted from the complicity of the United Nations and the international community with the coalition countries by disregard for the US-backed coalition crimes.”
