National Meteorology Center expects cold weather in several provinces

SANAA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology on Sunday expected cold weather during the night and morning in a number of provinces during the next 24 hours.

In its weather bulletin, the center expected that the weather would be cold during the night and morning hours in the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda and parts of Ibb and Dhalea.

The weather would be relatively cold to cold in the highlands of the provinces of Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, and west of Jawf and Marib, and it would be relatively cold in the desert areas and the interior hills.

The center called on citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers during the night and early morning hours, to take the necessary precautions to prevent themselves from cold weather. It urged farmers to take precautions against cold weather to protect their agricultural crops.
