Hamas, Islamic Jihad movement agree to raise coordination between military wings

GAZA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – Hamas and Islamic Jihad stressed the importance of strengthening and developing the bilateral relationship in accordance with a comprehensive plan that they agreed to, which reflects positively on the performance of the resistance and strengthening the resilience of its popular incubator.

The two movements agreed on a number of steps that would strengthen resistance and raise the level of coordination between the military wings.

This came during a lengthy leadership meeting on Saturday.

According to a joint statement, the meeting praised the escalation of resistance operations in the West Bank and al-Quds (Jerusalem) in response to settler terrorism and the crimes of Zionist occupation soldiers.

The two movements affirmed their full support for the guerrilla action in all its forms, warning the occupation against continuing its aggressive policies against our people in the occupied West Bank, Jerusalem and the occupied interior, which have crossed all borders, which will be met with a strong reaction from the Resistance and the Palestinian masses.

The meeting also highly appreciated the formation of popular resistance committees to deal with attacks by settlers and Israeli occupation soldiers.
