Meteorology warns of cold wave to continue in coming hours

SANAA, Dec. 13 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology warned of very cold weather to continue in a number of provinces during the next 24 hours.

In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the wave would target the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda and Ibb, Dhalea, western Jawf and Marib.

It stated that the weather also would be cold in the high areas of the provinces of Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout, as well as the desert areas.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers during the night and early morning hours, to take the necessary precautions to prevent severe cold wave.
