Sanaa accuses Saudi Arabia of deliberately intercepting missiles over residential areas

SANAA, Sept. 19 (YPA) – Sanaa’s Foreign Ministry said the injuries reported by the Saudi regime were caused by interceptions carried out by Saudi air-defense systems, adding that the interceptions were deliberately conducted over densely populated areas to cause the greatest possible number of casualties.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the ministry said the Sanaa-based armed forces do not target civilians or residential neighborhoods, but rather military sites and oil facilities that finance military operations.

It stressed that their operations are governed by religious, ethical and humanitarian principles.
