Shabwa: STC militia kill commander in Shabwani elite

ShABWA, Dec. 10 (YPA) – Gunmen on board a military pickup vehicle belonging to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia  assassinated Abu Bakr Mohammed al-Salami, a senior commander in the so-called  Shabwani  elite command on Friday afternoon in Shabwa province, local sources said.

According to the sources, the gunmen fired at al-Salami in the center of “As Said” district,  which led to his death instantly.

The sources explained that the body of the commander was thrown in the highway of the district, after seizing his car and fled.

the Sources said that there is a disagreement between the victim and one of the STC’s leaders in the province.
