Public Prosecution directes to initiate criminal case against perpetrators of war prisoners’ execution
SANAA, Nov. 16 (YPA) – Public Prosecutor, Judge. Mohammed Al-Dailami in Sanaa directed on Tuesday to initiate a criminal case against the perpetrators of the crime of execution of 10 prisoners on the West Coast by the Saudi-led coalition forces.
This came during his meeting with the head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs Abdul Qadir Al-Mortada.
In the meeting, Al-Dailami affirmed taking all necessary measures regarding coalition cases and crimes, ensuring the protection of victims’ rights, and seeking to prosecute and punish the perpetrators.
For his part, Al-Mortada submitted a report to the Attorney General, regarding the crime of execution of ten prisoners of the army and popular forces, on the western coast, by coalition gunmen.
The meeting touched upon a number of issues related to the prisoners of the coalition forces and their legal status, the work paths and follow-up to the prisoner exchange files, calling on redoubling of efforts and cooperation between the concerned authorities to successfully free the prisoners.
