STC militias suppress demonstrators in Lahj

LAHJ, Nov. 16 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias suppressed on Tuesday popular demonstration in Al-Habileen district of Lahj province, southern province.

Armed elements and armed patrols intercepted a popular demonstration calling for improving living conditions, stopping the economic collapse, and providing for the needs of citizens in the Al-Habileen district, local sources reported.

The sources indicated that the STC militias fired live bullets at the demonstrators, injuring a number of citizens, while dozens of others were arrested and taken to unknown areas.
