In pictures: Sanaa forces impose full control of coalition camp on Marib front
MARIB, Oct. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees (Sanaa forces) on Friday imposed their control over the most important camps located within the “third military region” of the Saudi-led coalition forces on Marib front.
Field sources confirmed that the army and the popular committees, along with fighters from the tribes of Marib, had taken control of all the sites of the 26th Mica Brigade, which was led by the commander of Bihan axis of the coalition, Mufreh Buhaibah, in Al-Jouba area.
The army took control of the “26 Mica Brigade” located in Al-Khashina area, after violent confrontations, in which the coalition militants incurred heavy human and material losses, according to the sources.
During the past hours, the army purged Naja area of the coalition’s fighters, after tightening its grip on the Al- Khashina camp and Al-Maghra Mountains.
