15 cars and motorcycles burned down in Taiz in mysterious circumstances

TAIZ, Oct, 03 (YPA) – Burning citizens’ cars in the southwest Yemeni city of Taiz, which is under the control of The Islah  military forces, has escalated dramatically, compounding the fears of the city’s residents living in tragic security situations.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on local sources

According to the sources, unidentified gunmen on Saturday, burned the car of a citizen named Sanad al-Shammiri, owner of al-Shammiri restaurant, in al-Masbah area  downtown.

Other gunmen burned two motorcycles in the same area, the sources said.

Last September, al-Masbah area  had  witnessed the burring of  more than  12 cars and motorcycles amid mysterious circumstances.

Citizens in Taiz city are complaining about the escalating burning of cars and motorcycles, amid a complete collapse of security   as a result of the proliferation of armed gangs, run by security and military agencies in the so called Hadi government .
