Hashim Al-Ahmar behind the killing of Sheikh Bin Hadban, sources say

SANAA, June 9 (YPA)- SANAA, June 9 (YPA)- Tribal sources revealed that the leader of the sixth military region loyal to the Saudi-led coalition forces Major General Hashim al-Ahmar  was behind the killing of Sheikh “Wajah al-khair Bin Hadban”  on Thursday with a number of tribal leaders close to him in Jawf province.

Several news outlets said that Bin Hadban was not killed during confrontations with the Yemeni army, but he was assassinated by the leadership of the Sixth military region in Jawf province, because of differences between them, according to a source close to “Al-Mrasel Net”.

The source confirmed that that the commander of the sixth military region, Major General Hashim al-Ahmar, appointed by the Saudi-led coalition forces is behind the liquidation of Sheikh Bin Hadban and a number o his tribe members.

The Sheikh “Wajah al-Khair Bin Hadban” was killed with a number o his tribe members on Thursday when a guided missile was fired by militias belonging to Hashim al-Ahmar hit his military vehicle, leading to his death with several others of his tribesmen.

The source indicated that General Hashim Al-Ahmar, who was appointed in February as commander of the Sixth military Region was unable to enter Jawf province until late of April because of the differences between Sheikh Bin Hadban and him.
