Qatari, Kuwaiti activists call for boycott of “hp”, “Puma” companies supporting Israeli occupation

KUWAIT, Aug. 26 (YPA) – Activists in Kuwait and Qatar have launched a campaign to boycott the products of HP, which specializes in developing laptop computers, as well as the Puma sportswear company, for their support of the Israeli occupation.

Under the slogan “I will not contribute”, the “Occupation Boycott Movement” in Kuwait launched a campaign to call for a boycott of “hp” products.

According to a promotional video posted by the movement on its Twitter account; the aim behind the boycott is to limit the company’s contributions to providing support to the Israeli occupation army and police.

“hp” is the second largest investor in the Israeli occupation, in addition to supporting the administrative detention policy followed by the prison administration with Palestinian prisoners.

The company also supports the settlement expansion policy, by launching the “Smart City” project for settlements in the Palestinian territories.

In this context, the “Qatar Youth Against Normalization” group called for a boycott of the “Puma” company, which specializes in the manufacture of sports clothing and equipment, because of its support for Israeli sports clubs inside the settlements.

Following the Qatari boycott, Qatar Sports Club responded to the termination of its contract with the mentioned company.
