SANAA, June 8 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces on Thursday carried out a unique operation to complete the full liberation of al-Moton district in Jawf province from Saudi-led coalition’s troops and militias, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
Over 50 of the coalition troops and militants were killed, dozens wounded and others captured by the army fighters, as well as destroying and seizing various military equipment, according to the official.
The operation, which was carried out by professional units of the army in Mazwiah front, led to controlling the front, and consequently completing the district liberation.
The official added that units of the army are pursuing the remaining militias in the district, noting that there is a state of panic and confusion in Al-Hazm district of the province, which is 18 kilometers from al-Moton district.
