TEHRAN, Jul. 21 (YPA) – Iranian government spokesman, Ali Rabiei, affirmed on Tuesday that his country has a positive vision towards negotiations with Saudi Arabia and welcomes dialogue that leads to the desired results.
The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted Rabiei during his weekly press conference as saying “Iran, based on its political constants, has always called for the promotion of peace and stability in the Persian Gulf region by the regional countries themselves.”
Commenting on the dialogue between Iran and Saudi Arabia, Rabiei added: “Regional negotiations are a permanent necessity, and we have always stressed the need for talks between the countries of the region.”
On the Iranian issue, Rabiei announced the postponement of negotiations related to reviving the nuclear agreement until after the transfer of full power to the new government in the country.
