New military reinforcements of Islah arrive in Abyan

ABYAN, Jul. 09 (YPA) – New military reinforcements of Islah Part loyal to Saudi-led coalition arrived Friday at Abyan province, in southern Yemen.

Eyewitnesses said that military vehicles and artillery arrived at ‘Qarn Al-Klasi’ front, the defense line for the coastal city of Shoqra, the stronghold of the Islah military command.

During the past two weeks, the Islah party pushed military reinforcements to ‘Sheikh Salem’ front and Shoqra camps, in conjunction with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s demonstrations demanding the exit of the Islah forces from Shabwa.

The STC accused the Islah party of abortizing the consultations to implement the “Riyadh Agreement” signed with the “Hadi government” in early November 2019.
