5.5-magnitude earthquake strikes Gulf of Aden

SANAA, Jun. 14 (YPA) – An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale hit the Gulf of Aden early on Monday.

According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km, 183 km northwest of Somalia.

According to the American authority, the earthquake occurred at latitude (12,835 north) and longitude (48.574 east).
