6 militants killed, injured in clashes among Islah factions in Taiz

TAIZ, Jun. 09 (YPA) – Six militants were killed and injured on Wednesday including citizens among Islah party’s factions in Taiz province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources confirmed that the clashes erupted among 22 brigade militias and tribal gunmen in surrounds of al-Thaourah hospital.

The sources declared that a military pick-up vehicle belonging to 22 brigade hit a driver of a motorcycle beside the hospital then the confrontations broke out using various light and medium machine guns.

According to the sources, the driver’s relatives clashed with elements of 22 brigade, causing panic and fear among the medical staff and patients.
