Nearly 500 Palestinians arrested

SANAA, May 24 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces  carried out a large-scale arrest campaign targeting about 500 Arab citizens inside the occupied area, Isreali media reported.

The occupation police said that the operation came after consultations between the Minister of Internal Security of the Government of Occupation, Amir Ohana, and Police Commander Kobi Shabtai,

Thousands of occupation police, border guards, reservists and special forces will take part in the operation.

According to Hebrew media, the occupation army has prepared a list of 500 of the 48 Palestine 48 territories  to be arrested during the campaign, which began at dawn because of their participation in demonstrations in support of al-Quds (Jerusalem), Sheikh Jarrah and Gaza.
