Over six members of Saudi-backed factions, seven wounded in Lahj

LAHJ, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Over 13 members of Saudi-backed factions were killed and wounded on Tuesday in western Lahj province, south of Yemen.

Sources familiar with the matter said that Saudi-aligned media reported that Sanaa forces targeted a gathering of militants from the Saudi-backed Dera al-Watan factions in Qa’wah area of Khour Umairah, in Al-Mudharabah and Ras Al-Arah district, killing around six and injuring more than seven others.

The sources said the attack also caused significant material damage to military vehicles, noting that Sanaa forces carried out the precise strike based on intelligence about the factions’ movements, amid speculation that they may have received information from within the factions themselves.
