Citizen killed by soldier gunfire in Taiz

TAIZ, May 06 (YPA) – A citizen died on Wednesday from wounds sustained as a result of the shooting carried out by a soldier in the 22nd Brigade loyal to Hadi’s forces in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen.

Local sources said that Ismail al-Jaradi died of wounds he had sustained as a result of the shooting  conducted by the  soldier Omar Qa’aed Muhayoub Al-Makhlafi, a member of the 22nd Brigade, after an altercation between them in Jamal Street in the city center

Al-Jaradi  was taken to the hospital but remained there until he died yesterday.

The sources pointed out that the perpetrator took refuge in the stronghold of armed gangs in al-Rawdha neighborhood, where some Islah military commanders refuse to hand him over.
