HADRAMOUT, March 08 (YPA) – A popular protest rallies were sparked for three straight day in Yemen’s southern city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout province.
According to sources in the city, the protesters demanded, in the rallies, a reduction in the prices of oil derivatives, which led to increasing in suffering of the citizens.
The sources affirmed that the governor and commander of the “Second Military Region,” Faraj Al-Bahsani, loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, sent the military and security forces to quell the protesting demonstrators, who blocked the main streets and roads in the city.
