UAE’s control of Yemeni ports, islands threatens region security: official

ADEN, Feb. 17 (YPA) – The UAE’s control of Yemeni ports and islands would be a security threat on the region, according to a Yemeni southern politician.

The politician, Ali Hussein Al-Bujairi, said on Twitter, “the control of the Yemeni ports, islands and airports by UAE to be taken as training camps for opponents of their countries is a step of conspiracy against some Gulf countries.”

Al-Bujairi pointed out that the UAE has worked to smuggle drugs and weapons from Yemeni ports and islands to various countries, describing the UAE as a nation of “devils.”
