Aden plunges in darkness

ADEN, Feb. 16 (YPA) – The public electricity service stopped during the past hours in all neighborhoods in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen.

The sources added that the outage of the electricity system comes because of the depletion of diesel material in the power plants.

The sources added that this caused power outages in most of the province’s directorates.

Aden province is experiencing a breakdown of security and deteriorating service and economic conditions, amid corruption and conflict between the so-called Hadi legitimacy and the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council STC.
