Bomb attack targets STC military patrol in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen targeted a military patrol of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias, in Aden province, southern Yemen.

The STC militia vehicle was attacked with an improvised explosive device (IED) while it was passing through ‘Al-Karaa’ round in Dar Saad area, local sources said.

This comes after targeting the gate of the Badr Camp by an attack bomb on Tuesday, which wounded two of the camp gate’s guards.

The IEDs attacks in Aden have recently increased in Aden. Since the beginning of the year, more than 23 explosions targeted military and security leaders, most notably the advisor to the STC President called Mohsen Askar, near the residential Enmaa area at the end of last January.
