MARIB, Feb. 09 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces prevented on Tuesday displaced people from leaving Marib city towards the capital Sanaa and the provinces of Hadramout and Shabwa, local sources said.
The sources reported that the coalition’s military police forces detained dozens of cars and trucks carrying displaced people at the entrances to the city of Marib and prevented them from leaving the city.
Many women and children are suffering at the points of the coalition forces, the sources added.
Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, member of the Supreme Political Council, announced on Monday evening, in a tweet on his account on Twitter, that Sanaa government welcomes and is ready to receive the displaced from the city of Marib.
