SANAA, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The Specialized Criminal Court in the capital Sanaa, on Tuesday sentenced 11 parliamentarians in abroad to death on charges of aiding the enemy and inciting it to commit acts affecting the security and stability of the Republic of Yemen.
In its judgment, the court ordered the confiscation of all funds, real estate and movable property of the convicts and transferring them to the state treasury.
Among the convicts is Hamid Abdullah Hussein Al-Ahmar, a businessman and a leading member in the Yemeni Islah Party loyal to Saudi-led coalition.
