SANAA, Feb. 06 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi, commented on Saturday about the Joe Biden on Yemen.
Al-Houthi, in an interview with Al-Mayadeen, said, “that Sanaa is waiting to convert the US President’s statements on stopping the war into action, expressing Ansarullah’s readiness for dialogue that serve in the public interest of the Yemenis.”
He affirmed that “Washington is supposed to stop the aggression against our country, describing the US President’s statements regarding stopping the war as just statements, which were expected to stop the war and to lifted siege.
Al-Houthi called on an end to the war and the siege imposed on Yemen, demanding the payment of compensation from the countries of aggression similar to the compensation that Kuwait obtained from Iraq.
He added there are not any contacts from the movement with United States far ever.
“What Saudi Arabia and the UAE have been doing in Yemen is the full-fledged terrorism, and the coalition of aggression had tried to wage a military war against us since 2004, but it failed, and we are ready to continue further.
Al-Houthi urged the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz to stop the aggression, and Saudi Arabia should turn to the peace of the brave, stressing that Ansarullah will negotiate according to the dictates of the Yemeni interest.
He considered that the political solution should be subject to the Yemeni people’s referendum.
The Yemeni armed forces will stop bombing the targets of the coalition states if all the those countries stop bombing on Yemen, stressing the Yemeni people have the right to defend itself by using locally manufactured weapons.
Al-Houthi confirmed there are recorded videos showing several leaders of “ISIS” and “Al-Qaeda” met with Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar, the deputy of the resigned Hadi president, noting that the threat of “ISIS” comes from Saudi Arabia and America.
He pointed out that the UN Security Council has talked about the territorial integrity of Yemen, considering some people’s remarks about separation as slogans to mobilize fighters.
Finally, Al-Houthi concluded his interview, saying: “The Yemeni people must be a high level of awareness and caution, especially in the peace phase, praising the efforts of the Yemeni armed forces and their role in preserving the country’s independence.”
