Running out of fuel causes electricity to cut off in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 24 (YPA) – The power supply was cut off on Sunday in most areas of Aden province, southern Yemen.

The electricity service was cut off in most residential neighborhoods in the city for a period of more than eight hours, continuously, local sources said.

The Electricity Corporation in Aden attributed the reason for the power outage to the running out of fuel from the power plants.

Aden and some southern provinces witnessed during the past few days a severe fuel crisis.

YPA
