Work suspended in Saudi Jizan port after ballistic attack

JIZAN, May 25 (YPA) – Saudi authorities suspended work in Jizan port, which is the second most important port in the kingdom, after a missile attack that caused large destruction, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

The official said the missile force of Yemeni army fired on Wednesday a ballistic missile of Badr-1 type toward Jizan port, southern Saudi Arabia, hitting the port accurately.

The missile force concentrates its hits on the Saudi economic and military targets, the official added.

On Tuesday, a ballistic missile of the same type hit Jizan Airport, which resulted in the closure of the airport for more than 24 hours.
