NCM warns of frost wave in several provinces

SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on Friday expected very cold weather and the possibility of frost formation in the mountainous heights in Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, and Bayda provinces during the 24 coming hours.

In its weather bulletin, The center stated that the weather would be cold in the high-altitude areas of the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, Hadhramout and the desert areas, during the night and early morning hours.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, sick people, and workers during the night and early morning hours, as well as travelers to those provinces, against the decrease in the low temperatures and severe cold shocks.
