Army attacks, secures desert areas in Marib, Jawf

MARIB, Nov. 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni army attacked and secured on Wednesday several desert areas of Marib and Jawf provinces, according to private sources.

The sources affirmed that the army fought fierce confrontations during the last hours against the Saudi-led coalition forces, taking over al-Jadafer and Adwan areas, which located between the two provinces.
The coalition warplanes carried out a series of air strikes in an attempt to support their collapsing forces to advance on the ground, according to the sources.
