Corona’s toll in world exceeds 54.8 million injuries, 1.3 million cases deaths

SANAA, Nov.17 (YPA) – The latest global statistics on the emerging corona pandemic (Covid-19) revealed, until Monday, that the total number of the announced infected people amounted to about 54 million and 819 thousand confirmed infections, of whom more than 38 million and 141 thousand patients recovered, while the number of deaths due to infection with the virus reached About one million and 325 thousand deaths.
According to the “Reuters” news agency, the Corona pandemic continues to spread in 217 countries, territories and regions around the world, and the countries of the world on Monday recorded a limited decline compared to Saturday in the number of new infections and deaths, and 491,445 new infections were discovered, and during the last 24 hours, 6,682 deaths occurred.
The statistics showed that the five countries that recorded the highest death toll in one day in the world on Sunday were, respectively, America (648 deaths), Mexico (635 deaths), Italy (546 deaths), Iran (459 deaths), and India (435 deaths).
While it indicated that the five countries in the world that recorded the highest number of new injuries yesterday within one day were, respectively, America (139,084 injuries), Italy (33,979 injuries), India (30,715 injuries), France (27,228 injuries), and Britain (24,962 injuries).
The United States still leads the world in terms of the highest death toll and the number of injuries overall.
Statistics stated that the five countries that are, as of Monday morning, the most affected by the pandemic in the world in terms of the total number of deaths, are: America (251,901 deaths), Brazil (165,811 deaths), India (130,109 deaths), and Mexico (98,542 deaths) and Britain (51,934 deaths).
