Attacks on QSD militias leave several dead in Syrian

SANAA, Nov.1 (YPA) -Five gunmen, including two leaders of the US-backed QSD militia, were killed and others wounded by unidentified gunmen in the city of Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor countryside, as attacks against the militia’s hubs and points of deployment on the Syrian island increased.

According to SANA, local sources said that an explosive device planted by unknown assailants exploded Saturday evening in the car of a leader of the QSD militia in the city of Hasakeh, killing him and injuring others who were with him..

The wounded were taken to a militia field hospital in the area.

In the town of Markadah, southern countryside of Hasakah, another QSD militia leader was shot dead by unknown assailants at a livestock market in the town, coinciding with the killing of one of militia  in the eastern countryside town of Al-Hul.

In the eastern most rural area of Deir ez-Zor, civil sources confirmed that “two gunmen from the “QSD” militia were killed when an explosive device exploded and targeted a military vehicle moving around Al-Sousse town.

On Friday, two Gunmen from QSD were killed when unidentified assailants targeted a militia checkpoint in the town of Markadah , south of Hasakah, and a checkpoint in the town of  Hajin, east of Deir ez-Zor.
