Zionist army suspends training after quarrel between soldiers

SANAA, Oct. 13 (YPA) –  Israeli occupation army on Monday evening announced the suspension of military training at one of its bases, after a quarrel between Bedouin and Jewish soldiers resulted in the injury of 21 soldiers.
The spokesman for the occupation army said, “The brigade commander ordered the suspension of training until the end of this week for the two companies involved in the quarrel.”
He added that punitive measures (he did not specify) would be taken against the soldiers who used violence and the officers who did not take the initiative to prevent the quarrel, as well as reprimanding the leaders of the two companies, according to the same source.
On Sunday, a violent quarrel broke out at the “Ketziot” base for training soldiers in the Elite Brigade “Givati”, over priority access to the dining hall.
The quarrel became more bloody after one of the soldiers withdrew his weapon, while 21 soldiers were wounded, seven of whom were transferred to Soroka Hospital in the Negev, according to the Hebrew newspaper, Yediot Aharonot.
