Lebanese army clashes with takfiri elements at border with Syria

+SANAA, Sept. 27 (YPA) – Clashes broke out between the Lebanese army and militants in Wadi Khaled on Saturday afternoon, killing a number of them.
Sources reported that the army clashed with an armed Syrian group in Al-Fard neighborhood in Wadi Khaled.

The sources stated that two militants blew themselves up to prevent their arrest by the army.

The channel indicated that the group is likely to be accused of preparing for “terrorist” acts, as it dropped bombs on the raiding force.

Some information mentioned that the operation began when a unit from the Information Division was imposed on a Syrian-Lebanese penitential group, and that clashes took place in Al-Fard area, after which the Lebanese Army intervened in support.
