One of “Hadrami Elite” recruits assassinated in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Sep. 26 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen assassinated one of the so-called “Hadrami Elite” recruits in Shibam city of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, on Saturday.

Local residents reported that two gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire at the recruit in the Hadrami Elite force Ayman Jamal bin Talib, while he was in a popular market in ‘Hotat Ahmed bin Zain’ area in Shibam district, and killed him.

The killers fled without being intercepted by anyone despite the presence of a security patrol at the scene of the crime, the residents added.

Hadramout province has been witnessing a significant security chaos since the Saudi-led coalition forces took control of the province on April 14, 2016.
