Zionist enemy carries out arrests, confiscates building materials in West Bank

SANAA, Sept. 1 (YPA) -The Israeli enemy forces stormed the city of Hebron early on Tuesday and arrested a Palestinian, WAFA media reported

Security sources told WAFA that enemy forces arrested Maamoun Hussein al-Natsheh after searching his house and tampering with its contents in the city.

The occupation forces raided several neighborhoods in the city, searched the house of the Mujahid al-Tamimi family, erected two military checkpoints at the western entrance to the city, “Farsh al-Hawa” and the southern “al-Fahas” and searched citizens’ vehicles and checked their identities, causing their movement to be obstructed.

In a related context, at dawn on Tuesday, enemy army forces arrested two young men from Bethlehem.

“Enemy forces arrested two citizens from the al-Saf Street area in the centre of the city, after raiding and searching the homes of their relatives,” Wafa reported.

“Clashes broke out after the incursion into Bethlehem, specifically on Al-Mahdi Street, and Israeli soldiers fired bullets, gas bombs and sound, without injuries,” the Palestinian News Agency said.

Separately, on Tuesday, enemy forces seized a large amount of stone and bricks in the construction of houses in the town of Tuqu, southeast of Bethlehem.

“The occupation threatened the citizen not to continue building his house, although he had previously received a notice to stop building there,” Director of Tuqu city said.
