One killed, three injured in gunfight in Wisconsin

SANAA, Aug. 26 (YPA) – At least one was killed and three others were injured after gunfights broke out on the city’s streets, the third day of unrest after police shot a black man, law enforcement authorities in Kenosha, Wisconsin, said on Wednesday.

A video posted on social media showed a clash between civilians and several people attacking an armed man who apparently threw to the ground.

The gunman was seen in the video shooting at those who were running towards him and one of them fell to the ground while other shots were heard, according to the New York Times.

US police shot a black man in the back several times in Kenosha and Wisconsin, on Sunday in front of his three children, his family’s lawyer said, sparking occasional violent unrest during the night and prompting the state’s governor to call a special legislative session to address law enforcement problems.

Jacob Blake, 29, was taken to hospital after the shooting late Sunday afternoon. Blake’s father told NBC News that his son had surgery and was in stable condition.

A video posted on social media showed Blake walking toward the driver’s side in a grey SUV followed by two police officers pointing their guns at his back. Seven gunshots could be heard as Blake, apparently unarmed, opened the car door.
