15 protesters kidnapped in angry protests in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Aug. 24 (YPA) – About 15 protesters were kidnapped in angry protests against the Saudi-backed Islah militants in the city of Seiyun of Hadramout province, sources said.

According to the sources, the protesters called for the militants of the so-called “First Military Region loyal to the leader, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, to leaver the province.

The sources affirmed that the militants opened fire towards the protesters, who demanded a civil disobedience in all government facilities and private sectors.

The Hadramout residents have demanded the Islah militants to leave the province, amid the deteriorating security chaos and the expansion of assassinations operations that target the military and security cadres of the province, in addition to the deterioration of living and economic conditions.
