Islah militias bombard STC sites in Abyan

ABYAN, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Islah party’s militias bombarded on Thursday sites of UAE-backed southern transitional council militias in Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

Islah militiamen used several of artillery shells and Katyusha rockets during shelling the southern sites in Taria and Sheikh Salim fronts, the sources confirmed.

Eyewitnesses said that Islah party sent tens of gunmen from Shabwa to Abyan and armed groups loyal to Islah militia arrived at Shaqra front.
