MARIB, July 26 (YPA) – Saudi forces on Sunday offered financial rewards of up to 100,000 Saudi riyals for anybody provides information about a Saudi officer who disappeared two days ago in Marib province, southeast Yemen.
Tribal sources revealed that a high-ranking Saudi officer went around the vicinity of Maas camp belonging to Saudi-led coalition’s in al-Jadaan area two days ago, and that he has not returned yet.
The sources said that the sudden disappearance of the Saudi officer is shrouded in mystery, suggesting that likely he was kidnapped by tribal militants, or that he drowned in al-Jarf valley, which witnessed during the past two days torrential rains.
Saudi forces are still searching for the missing officer in some tribal areas near the camp, offering attractive amounts of money and privileges for those who provide information about him or find his body.
