STC threatens Hadi gov’t to take new measures

ADEN, July 13 (YPA) – The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) transitional government threatened to take new measures against the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi government in the case of failure to pay the salaries of the STC’s recruits.

The move came during an expanded meeting was held by STC with a number of military leaders, who called to quickly pay the salaries of the recruits, which had not been paid for five months.

Dozens of the STC’s recruits erected tents in a protest rally in front of most of camps of the Saudi-led aggression coalition in Aden calling for paying their salaries and farcical duets.

Earlier, the STC militias, led by “Osan Al-Anshaly, imposed a siege on the branch of the Central Bank in Aden to protest against non-payment of the salaries.
