MARIB, July 6 (YPA) – Dozens of the Saudi-led aggression coalition mercenaries were killed and wounded on Monday in the Yemeni army’s attack in Marib province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The official affirmed that the mercenaries were killed when the army foiled repelled a wide attack by the coalition forces towards al-Rakhaim area of Mahaliah district, destroying also several military vehicles of the coalition.
The official said the Yemeni army forces carried out a successful attack against the coalion forces in al-Kanab al- Rakhaim area, hours after confronting a failed attempt waged by the aggression forces towards the same area.
The official confirmed that the army forces allowed the coalition forces to remove many of the wounded soldiers from the aggression’s recruits for treatment, including a leader Osama Aref Mohammad Qasim Bahibeh who is currently receiving treatment in Al-Amoud Hospital in Mahaliah district.
Earlier, the army attacked and took over a number of areas in Al-Abadiah and Mahliyah districts in the same province.
