Moroccan Health Ministry records 175 new cases of coronavirus

SANAA, June 29 (YPA) – The Moroccan Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that 175 new cases of Corona virus were recorded, compared to 221 cases in a statistic on Saturday.

The head of the Epidemiology Department of the Ministry of Epidemiology and Disease Control at the Ministry, Hind Al-Zein, reported that the death toll from confirmed cases of the virus in the country during the past day had increased by 175, to 12052 cases.

This number indicates the decline in the daily infection index of Corona virus in Morocco, where this rate in a statistic on June 26 reached 295 cases and on June 27 reached 221.

Al-Zein stated, however, that a new 1 death case was recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of pandemic victims in the country to the level of 221, noting that the lethality rate reached 1.8%.

The health official also reported 17 cases of recovery, bringing the number of people recovering from the disease to 8,740.
